I suspect I've issues with my autofocus with both of my lens (an AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED and an AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED). I've googled a little bit on the topic and came up with the following links:
