Bookmarklets are a lot more powerful than the average user would think. There're tons of free bookmarklets on the web, you just have to choose whatever you need.

You can put bookmarklets in your bookmarks toolbar, but if you'd like them to be more distinct, you can create your own buttons with the "Custom Buttons" extension. It's also a great way to add buttons for your custom JavaScript code snippets to your toolbar.
