It caused me a bit of headache, because the Ctrl+Shift+Esc combo (that I got used to in Windows) does not work. I tried to look up the solution in Google (on how to exit full-screen mode), but did not find anything relevant. Eventually I've found the answer in the manpage of vncviewer, somewhere near its end. The description of the -MenuKey option contained that the default key to bring up the vncviewer menu is F8.
