There's always one thing that most of the post-apocalyptic tales screw up: where do the (bad) guys get their gas from? I mean it's one thing to have oil available, but for cars to roll you need a working refinery. And I haven't seen any in this movie either.
P.S.: this movie is sooo hollywoodish ...

Not too bad, but I liked
The Road a lot more. The latter focused more on people and not visual effects (ie. showing off the state of the world after the nuclear war).
