In the 8th episode of
"Sports Night" one of the characters (Dana) said the following to a colleague:
For a guy who's read "The Hobbit" fourteen times, you're not so dumb.
I'm quite relieved: this means I've still a couple of times left for reading one of my favourite fantasy books before people start thinking I'm nuts.
PS: in the Hungarian translation the book was changed to "The Lord of the Rings" (it's the sequel of "The Hobbit") and she said "nine times" instead of fourteen. I can understand why they changed the book ("The Hobbit" is a lot less known in Hungary than "The Lord of the Rings"), but why did they cheat with the number?
