Recently news was all full with the announcement of Google Earth 5. I was just about to update, when the installer popped up this silly question:
"Google Software Update is about to be installed.
(...)
a.) Quit Google Earth
b.) Accept and Install
How's that?

Of course I instantly cancelled the install. Nobody should tell me to install any sneaky updater or go to hell. A bad move imho. See tha attached screenshot.
Update: somebody was more stubborn (than me) on installing Google Earth 5 without the sneaky Updater and found out how to get around the issue. Read
