An alternative to PuTTY?
Sun, 2006.10.29 - 12:53 — müzso
There's fairly new SSH client for Windows:
Poderosa
. I have no problems with
PuTTY
, but Poderosa might be more comfortable if you're using several terminals at the same time (split window layout and support for tabs).

I've tried it a month ago.
I've tried it a month ago. It needs .NET Framework 2.0 to run and if I can remember correctly it was missing SSH tunneling support. PuTTY rulez.

tunneling?
You mean the port-forwarding and the SOCKS-proxy like forwarding? I think I saw this in the feature list of Poderosa.
