Oh boy. This was something of a movie. Not a Hitchcock horror, but still ... it was pretty exciting. It might be comparable to Signs, but has a bit more to offer "creaturewise". The main plot is not the fight with the monsters, but how people respond to an extreme situation. I bet the human reactions depicted in the movie are quite close to what would happen in real life. Another point goes for the unexpected ending. Or at least I didn't expect it, not from a film made in the American dream factory. A small suggestion: don't take your 10 year old boy to this, he could have bad dreams afterwards.
