Not long ago I've discovered that Google's indexing has some flaws and unfortunately I've found a bug again.
I saw in the accesslog that somebody came to
my Boris Vallejo gallery from
borisvallejo.lap.hu. This was the first time that I found a reference to my site somewhere on the net that I did not know of.
I got excited and tried to look for sites by using the
"link:muzso.hu" keyword in Google's search engine. It said that
"Your search - link:muzso.hu - did not match any documents".
I did not give up so easyly ... I did
a search for all pages on the borisvallejo.lap.hu site and it returned 5 hits. The first one was the main page. I opened the Google-cached version of the page and my site is listed even in that one! So why in the hell did Google not find this reference, when I used the "link" keyword?
My next shot was the following search:
muzso.hu -site:muzso.hu
. It returned 2 hits! After all Google is capable to find some references to my site ... but there are a lot more that it was not.
